I very much prefer it to Excel because it gives -2^2 correctly as -4.
However, I use WP maybe twice a week, and the mail and presentations stuff never. I've been an unconditional supporter ever since. I'm old enough to remember the original fight between WP and WordStar. This is especially relevant for newer operating systems such as Windows 10/11. You might consider upgrading to the newest version on the site (your serial number for X4 should allow you to buy the upgrade for a reduced price). There were 2 small and 2 large service packs released after 2008.
Moreover, your WPX4 build number indicates it is the initial release of X4.
